Who needs Magic the Gathering? Throw out your Pokemon cards! (Seriously, throw them out) You need to get busy playing the card game that blows them all away, in a very literal and precise sense: BWAH!

Created by 10th Crew Member, this free, downloadable card game let you become the captain (or one of the crew, or a merc, or possibly some local color) and work to achieve your goal. Because your profession is chosen separately from your character, you could become Captain Kaylee, or play Simon as a mercenary! There are lots of items and places and events to help or hinder you, and the other players maybe trying to help you win and maybe trying to help you into a small patch of ground about six feet deep.

In short, it's a lot like Firefly.

Keep track of your health (Mudder's Milk can get you up and moving again), use every advantage you've got, and you'll come out on top.

Then you can try one of the expansion packs. There are three so far, plus some new character cards. UPDATE: And there's the latest version, BWAH! Can't Stop the Signal, based on the movie. Playable by itself, it can also be combined with BWAH! to make Big Damn BWAH!

Or you could try "Bamboo Dragon," a version of Tall Card from "Shindig."

And if that's not enough, TCM has also created "Firefly: Hard Burn" (be the first crew to accumulate $5000 in platinum while attempting to move 86 million miles before your opponents do). Kind of like a really violent Milles Bornes.

And if card games don't do it for you, there's "Big Damn Heroes, the board game where the object of the game is to "knockout, kill, detain, or otherwise render useless, all of your opponent’s characters."

Think of it as Othello with ranged weapons, or chess played with a bar on the board.
