It's Serenity Day, that joyeous holiday when kids wait for kindly St. Joss to come down the satellite cable and bring wonderful movies for everyone to enjoy. Yay! Also, it's Joss' birthday.
More to the point, today's the day legions of fans have picked to buy copies of Serenity as a way of showing Universal that we're still out here, we still have money, and we're still interested. And besides, who couldn't use a few extra copies? So here's some links to pick up your Serenity today:

I hope buying from Amazon counts! I recently loaned my Firefly dvd's to a friend who said "You have brought me tv crack… No I will not return your dvd's" So I just bought her both Firefly and Serenity…. I need MY crack back!
It definitely counts. Just ordered mine, always good to keep a loaner copy at work, ready. Serenity's at #23 in Amazon's DVD top sellers list. I want to see a #1, people!

I live in Seoul. The Korean DVD finally arrived last week; it looks to be a repackaging of the Japan version. There is English and Japanese audio, but English, Japanese, and Korean subtitles. Anyway, the exciting part is it costs only nine bucks. Korea is on the NTSC television standard, although DVD Region 3 so it's not compatible with US players until they are "region hacked".
Looks like we got the "Asia" DVD cover here in Korea. There was another "Asia" DVD I bought in Hong Kong this spring (first week of March) for $23; that one was in English, Chinese, and Indonesian and also NTSC standard. What's interesting about that is China and Hong Kong are SECAM markets where NTSC DVDs require a multisystem TV and player.
