In fact, the framed jacket above does not appear anywhere in the movie. This can be confirmed by referencing the above jacket with any of the scenes where Kaylee is wearing her version in the DVD, and examining them closely. This includes the scene photo above. I have already confirmed this and asked The Prop Store for an explanation. They stated that many props and costumes used in movies have multiple copies made for different reasons. All they can guarantee is that all of the items sold from their store were used in the (production) of the movie Serenity. Which basically is saying that they may or may not have been screen used. They were just present and on hand in production if needed for the film. So to all collector's out there, just because there's a scene photo accompanying a certain prop or custume, or they're listed as being used in production of a movie, it doesn't necessarily mean it's the actual one used or worn on screen by the actor, or used in the movie at all.
