Serenity lunchbox cancelled?

Author: Just got a heads-up from Simon at Whedonesque, the Diamond Comics Previews cancellations list for June include the following:
DARK HORSE COMICS
The Lunchbox Serenity (MAY070071U) has been cancelled.
It no longer shows up in a search at the Dark Horse site, although the item page is still there. Any one with any news?

Ok, here's the word from Dark Horse:
The lunchbox indeed has been cancelled (they didn't go into the reasons why), but they are still looking at offering some version of one at some point down the road.
So don't give up on the notion of actually having a Serenity lunchbox. They just have to take another look at it.
dangit, I was excited for that one…might have to do a little DIY work now
There's the Serenity Lunchbox available on pre-order status at Things From Another World. It's release date is listed as 16 Sep 07. I don't know what the Dark Horse Lunch Box was supposed to look like, but these here look pretty nice.

The listing is still there, but the lunchbox is still cancelled. I talked to a rep from TFAW today; it's definitely cancelled, at least for now. They'll get the site updated soon.
It's funny…..the pre-order is still showing up in my account. Wonder when they'll adjust that.
