I had to go out to Los Angeles on business last week, which fortunately coincided with Geoffrey Mandel's first "Graphic Design for Film and Television" class. I'd absolutely encourage anyone who's out there and has any interest in the field to sign up if the class is ever offered again. It's fast moving, fun, visually interesting, and got me pumped to go back to my hotel and do some design work. Geoffrey's insights are more than just interesting - they're extremely valuable for anyone looking to break into the field. My only regret was that I couldn't figure out a way to get back for the other eleven classes. Damn! Just thought I'd pass this on.
