Just had to cancel my debit card, thanks frauders
According to my daily balance e-mail, I was suddenly about $200 down. While it's possible it could be from backed up gas station charges, I checked anyway.
And lo and behold, there were 5 pending charges from companies I'd never heard of and have never done business with: passhlp.com, kdeweb.net, fileservicehelp.com, com-pay.com, and userhelponline.com. The charges were all for amounts around $39.
My bank can't dispute them till they actually charge against my account, so I have to wait till they clear and then get them taken off, right before a banking holiday and long weekend. In the meantime, I killed the card to prevent more of my money being siphoned and now I get to wait for the new card and the fun of updating anyplace where my old card appears.
And I'm not one to throw my card number around. Amazon has it, and PayPal, and a few companies I have standing orders with. Mostly I use PayPal. So somewhere out there, someone I trusted has spread my card number around.
It also just reminds me that there are companies out there whose standard operating practice is to openly steal from me. Always a good thing to remember. And to check my balance regularly.
Bastards.

As somebody who works for an online business, if you call the businesses that were given your card information, and get them to reverse the charges, they will save a lot of money by not having to endure a chargeback and associated fees. If the bank has to wait until Monday anyway, try giving those businesses a call first thing in the morning on Monday to get them to cancel the order. Maybe they'll have an IP address of the user who made the purchase…
Of course it's easier to endure this on a credit line instead of your own bank account…so try to get your money back as soon as possible.
greetings. i happened to be googling passhlp.com and came across your blog. same crap just happened to me with the same companies. can you please share any information on what happened. we are currently in discussions with the bank to find out how this happened and get the money back. thanks.
My bank credited my account right away, with little discussion, so I doubt I can shed any light on it for you. But I would definitely advise killing that card.
That particualr card is only used at places like Amazon, TFAW.com, and other national, hopefully trustworthy places. All other online purchased get PayPalled, so I'm at a loss as to how they got my info. However, I did get gas at some out of the way places in the last week or so, and I'm wondering if my card info got picked up that way. Dunno.
Good luck!
watch out for newonlinehelp.com
1forinpass.com
Cs365247.com
fileservicehelp.com
csfuel.com
I just found out that in 1 month these "companys" have taken about 39$ each. dont know what i am getting…
Some of the sites have the same homepage even though they have diff. names. My account have been closed, and i dont expekt to se the money returned. Just wanted to put the word out there.
Good luck to those in the same situation.

I have been charged $34.86 PAY-IGOTINNOW.COM. I will most definitely be canceling my MasterCard on Monday or maybe tonight as I doubt I will get the money back and this way I will block future fraudulent charges
I was also charged 1.08 from http://WWW.TOP10HELP.COM and CSFUEL.COM who have replied and said I have only been charged $1 and nothing more for a trial monthly fee I did not sign up for!
This is not an American problem. I live in Germany and have also been ripped off by Manstermed.com and Fileservicehelp.com. How comes everybody knows it's a Rip Off except Mastercard. I use my credit card maybe twice and cancel it and then apply for a new one. Mastercard just seem to play my game.
This happens in America….
Same thing just happened to me. This is how i discovered this blog….Im closing my account Monday, I even google searched the sites, and called them. And i realized after talking to them for an hour. That I will not get my money back. And i didn't even ask them too. Because its my word against their word….
Keep a eye out..
Maybe I will try again later…but i'm taking a break from this now, its getting frustrating.
I had 5 charges from:
Techassistsite.com 866-594-4134
Sdbilling.net 888-725-0160
Ibserv.net 8775364588 Watford
Escubcs 8887623681 Wendover Ayle
The charges were all in the $37-$39 except one charge for $1.00. 2 of the numbers are busy. SDbilling (porn sites) answered (American operator) and gave a refund. She asked if any users of the card could have charged the account. There is no other user. I think that the pull numbers and charge in the hopes that a perverted husband will get blamed, allowing them to keep charging. She also said that the ip registered when the account opened was in Manila. The other (Techass) claimed he was in Florida. The operator did not know anything about Florida. I believe he was in Philippines. Nevertheless, he did remove 1 charge ($37.19) but not another ($1.00). The reason he gave was that he does not have auth to remove the other charge. I explained in detail that I did not make the charge. I think the reason that they leave it on is so they can say that the charge was under consent. With this, they can charge again. I seldom use this card. I am at a loss as to how they got the number. The guy from "Florida" said that the email address given during the original charge was mons@verizon.net This email belongs to a P.I. in Virginia who no longer has a working phone number. I dont think this P.I. is the person who really opened the account. This is all very strange.
Last month, Kdeweb.net (206) 331-4014 Us866276040 and http://Www.webchargepay.com 888-2204476 charged me $29 and $39. Both of those charges were refunded when I called. Now, I received the new charges exactly one month later. Chris, can you remember where the gas stations were located at? The only place I have used this card in the last year was at a few gas stations (a few months ago) on a road trip. If I can narrow it down some more, I will find the bastards and ass master them. How the guy in Germany got picked up, I have no idea. BTW my card is a WAMU Visa (the account is now closed and all previous charges are being disputed)
I don't have a lot more information to provide. It was a Wachovia debit card. The gas stations I visited were in the South Daytona area of Florida (we did a story on credit card numbers being stolen at a South Daytona gas station, which is where I got the idea). Wachovia refunded the money promptly as the charges cleared, I just had to fax them a signed affidavit that I did not request those services.
Otherwise, I have no idea where those companies got my number. Every time I read another story about companies getting hacked and credit card numbers being stolen I wonder if that's how it happened.
Be careful about calling the numbers associated with the charge. It looks like in some cases, these small charges are designed to fly "under the radar" from fraud checkers. When you call the number listed for the bogus charge, you get a recorded message, then nothing. Next thing you know, you find a new charge for $40 or $50 bucks for a "tech support" call that you made to…guess where? I've heard people saying they used the cards in question at gas stations, Barnes and Noble, and other legit places. I noticed it when a number of people on the forum at my fantasy football place had it happen to them. Looks like they got hacked, too. Best thing to do is deal directly with your credit card provider, I think.
I got billed by IBSERV.NET . Does anyone now who this is, if they have a site, and how i can not be billed in future?
Hey NeedHelp, I was checked my Visa Card transaction history and found the the same site, except it's LBSERV.NET. It appears on your statement in "lower-case" form with a 10-digit account number behind it. Embarrassing as it may seem, this is from trying to subscribe to a pornographic site. I was conned into thinking that the site would be free, but apparently my account was charge anyway. I've tried contacting LBSERV.NET at their business number, 1-877-536-4588, but everytime I do I hear an automated voice state: "This number has been temporarily suspended. Goodbye!" So, I am unsure as to how to cancel the accidental subscription. I forgot what site I was viewing anyway. : (
Thankyou Bryan C. I typed in lbserv.net in google and it took me to a page where I could cancel any membership. I am still unsure of how i this site managed to get my detials. I have never once signed up to anything of an adult nature.
sir,
I would like to know why my credit card has been charged by you of 25.58€, july 17?
The PRICE IN USD is 39.71
As i can see others different charges from other foreign charges, like : PRIZE-HELP.C or PASSHLP.COM,
I m affraid that my card number has been stolen.
So please note that you have to unsuscribe me from anything from your company.
I made a police contest, but it's too late.
Thank you to confirm.
Regards.
ALBERT PENOUEL

I've been charged by 4 of these sites in the past month, don't waste your time trying to get a refund from the companies themselves, all you'll get is a runaround. Go straight to the bank issuing the card, cancel the card and cancel the transaction from the banks end as a fraudulent transaction. Ignore the scare tactics on the web sites, they're BS.
I have had two charges in two weeks from two different sites. Charge was same for both: $37.49. Sites were: Qwebs.com and znetcs.com. I have cancelled my bank card. When you call the phone numbers provided…all you get is a recorded message and then when it is about to be your turn to talk with someone…well, the message tells ya good bye and hangs up. Can't get anywhere…no point in holding the line to try again for twenty minutes(first time I called)…after calling again and again different days and different times…same message…different websies also. I posted this because I did not see these two web sites listed at all. I am sure others have been charged from these supposed companies.
I'm doing mass comp research on the above listed companies. What gas stations and/or businesses online did you use your card with. Please, I need to some help on this because I'm noticing customer cards with porn charges. Thanks!
