Just a quick note - I do realize that 'screen used' articles are of much interest to collectors but two or three grand for the sword?? - well, here's a quick thought.
If you don't mind a slightly different wrapping and the lack of fake bloodstains, you can Google the web for 'ninja swords' ( I know, but that's what people insist on calling them) and you will find - with a bit of looking - that you can own this same identical pattern made in simple 420 or 440C steel for less than thirty bucks.
Although these blades have as much in common with a true Asian sword, as I have in common with a chameleon, they do look just like the one in Serenity - and they are weapons-quality steel, so as our kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Reynolds, always said ' "Play nice, now".
If honor would compel you to do so, you are welcome to send ME a portion of the coin I just saved you... or just buy DVDs for everyone you know and introduce the world to the series.
