BMB is now at QMx! (And QMx launched a new shopping site)

Black Market Beagles has joined QMx! And it's a good thing.
Mainly it means that Adam Levermore-Rich's geek-based business will now get more attention, the quality of the materials should improve, and his browncoat-based designs will be a bit more official. And Qmx gets a ready-made line of beautifully designed geekwear. Win-win.
First up, a shoulder patch for the 12th Cavalry Airborne.
The men and women of the Independents 12th Cavalry, whose unit slogan "Death From Above" described them perfectly: They rained terror and ordinance on enemy forces where ever they were – space, the air or the ground. Their heavily-armed, but surprisingly maneuverable, gunboats could be configured for all manner of missions from patrol to deep insertion to flying fortress duty. Small enough to avoid detection, fast enough to hit quick and retreat, big enough to grapple even with the capital ships, the gunboats were the perfect vehicle for an armed militia that specialized in guerrilla warfare.
The 12th Cavalry were Browncoats to reckoned with.
And a T-shirt commemorating the ISV Cerberus, the Bravest Browncoats, featuring a logo designed by Serenity graphic designer Geoff Mandel.
There is perhaps no braver soldier than the one who fights a hopeless battle not because they think they can win, but because they know it is right. Such was the caliber of crew aboard the ISV Cerberus, Browncoats that fought tirelessly and with distinction from the hopeful beginning to the bitter end. Taken down not by superior skill or greater bravery, but by a technological edge brought about by vast industrial power.
More stuff is coming! And you can buy it in QMx's new shopping cart system, that's a bit more robust and feature-rich than their previous one (although the speed could use some work, guys).
Overstock sale at Black Market Beagles
Adam took plenty of merchandise to the Flanvention, but he was kinda busy that weekend. You know, whipping up a replacement convention at a moment's notice (along with several other valiant Browncoats and stars). So he's got a lot of stuff left over and it's all on sale for a limited time. Some of these items are not offered at his main store anymore, so this could be you last chance to get any of the wonderful Little Damn Heroes designs.
Also available: the Browncoats poster (seen above) he premiered at the Backup Bash. Designed from hundreds of familiar quotes, fan names, event titles, and more, it's an elegant piece that will have you squinting for weeks to see if you're in there…
Black Market Beagles closing shop
Adam of BlackMarketBeagles.com posted this on his blog today:
Dear browncoats, beagles and friends of all types,
It is with great regret that I will be closing the virtual doors to BlackMarketBeagles this Friday, October 27. I believe that I have been careful enough in my artwork to avoid violating copyright, but Universal’s recent crusade to eliminate all fan-based merchandise (and to impose hefty fines against violaters) has made it far too risky for me to continue operating online. This is a crushing blow, which fills me with an aching sadness. This was, as many of you know, my way of giving back to the browncoat community that has given so much to me.
Little Damn Hero Joss, and a very popular club
Black Market Beagles has added two more great designs!
Now you too can join the fastest growing organization in the 'verse. You can join… I'm gonna go with hundreds of men in the "YoSaffBridge Husbands Club." Membership entry fees are somewhat extreme — usually everything you have — but the shirt (or button, or sticker, or mug, or…) is cheap and stylish.
And we have a Little Damn Joss! Complete with director's chair, pink backpack and Serenity Now/Equality Now shirt.
If you haven't stopped by Black Market Beagles recently you should. It's pumped up and growing, with posters on sale, a new blog for recent developments and works in progress, and contests such as the one now where you can win free stuff by sending in pictures of you wearing a Black Market Beagle product. Whee!
More Little Damn Heroes, a poster sale, and River comes to San Francisco
Big doings going on at Black Market Beagles!
First, we've got the whole crew now that Simon's been added. And, because BMB was getting requests for a non-naked Mal (for some reason) now there's another Mal design available! Full cast designs and more on their way, so keep checking.
And for a limited time, all Black Market Beagles posters are 50% off!
More cool news: if you're going to the San Francisco screening of Serenity next week, you can buy a limited edition poster Adam designed. It's gorgeous. Not available online, you'll have to go there to get one. Poor baby. (Although there will be B&W versions available at SF Browncoats and Silicon Gulch Browncoats for guerilla marketing purposes) All proceeds to benefit Equality Now!
Newest Little Damn Hero: Inara
Adam at Black Market Beagles has added yet another Little Damn Hero to the mix: Inara! "Would you like to lecture me on the wickedness of my ways?"
Available on a wide array of shirts, mugs, notebooks, buttons, and more, Inara's waiting for you all sultry like, with wiles. This makes eight out of nine, now we just need Simon. And a full crew version? Huh? Maybe? And, and, and the ship, and some supporting characters, and… Sorry. I'll be good.
Newest Little Damn Hero – Zoe
The latest addition to the Little Damn Hero line at BlackMarketBeagles.com: Zoe!
A lot of attitude in a tiny body, Zoe is available on shirts, buttons, bags, and more. Stop by the site and check her out!
Wash has arrived at Black Market Beagles
The newest Little Damn Hero is at BlackMarketBeagles.com, ready to be worn proudly across your… whatever you wear things across.
You get Little Wash, asking "Can I make a suggestion that doesn't involve violence?" Available on T-shirts, baydoll shirts, and ringer tees. Also, probably soon a button. Watch him soar!
